something I hear all the time living in St. Louis - if a politician is stumping in one of the large cities, STL or KC, they say "Missour-ee". (the commonly accepted 'educated' pronunciation). If they are in the more rural middle parts of the state, they say "Missour-uh".

every other westernized country on earth has universal healthcare for all - but that argument didn't resonate with the right-wingers. funny how they can apply the "every one else is doing it" argument only when it suits their agenda.
